the hippie story

i'm allison. currently playing crissy in the broadway revival of HAIR.

one day you're invincible. one day they tell you you're not. but you realize you still are. but you begin to learn that this is all part of being invincible: bouncing back, keeping the faith, fighting the good fights, still being forever grateful. and knowing this too shall pass. i just started to undergo tests for a hip injury which has completely changed my life. literally one day everything changed. so here i can tell you whats on my mind, what the process is like and prove to you change doesn't mean bad. it means change. here we go...

here's a place to find randomness. inspiration (i hope). and who knows what else. i have no expectations. i only know i may have a lot to share during my hippie time.

i think you're great. LOVE

  5. It's hard keeping the faith sometimes isn't it? Sometimes it doesn't seem like faith is enough to keep you going. Then life's sporadic little blessings surprise us :)

  6. This is beautiful. YOU are beautiful! Thank you so much for the ways you change lives and make the world a better place. I've gained so much from following your example.
Now that you need us, we are here reminding you too to stay strong! I'm so glad you've made it back to the show and hope you continue, not necessarily back to the way things were but to the way they're going to be. Love.

  7. Allison, Obviously I don't know you, but I find your optimism, faith, and wholehearted commitment as a performer, and an individual completely inspiring. I have faith that your hip situation will work itself out, and the universe will continue to unfold for you just as it is meant to. Peace and Love.
